Windsor Locks Little League will be holding its annual player evaluations for the 2021 season on Saturday March 6th at the Windsor Locks Town Hall Gym.
The objective of player evaluations will be to place players in appropriate divisions based upon ability, not age, with the goal of fielding competitively balanced teams.
Please make every effort to attend these evaluations.
Who should attend?
ALL REGISTERED Softball and Baseball players for each division should attend.
Any player that would have played Tee Ball last spring and is at least league age 6 that would like to move beyond Tee Ball to either Minors Softball or Baseball should attend.

Who does not need to attend?
Any player that played on a Majors team in spring 2019
Any player registered for Tee Ball
PLAYERS WILL BE PLACED IN DIVISIONS BASED ON ABILITY, NOT AGE.
What time?
League age 6 to 8 Baseball - 11:00 am
League age 9 & 10 Baseball - 12:30pm
League age 11 & 12 Baseball - 1:45pm
Softball - 2:45pm. This includes any girl that is league age 6 and would like to move up to Minors
What to expect at evaluations?
WLLL will adhere to all current state and local COVID-19 guidelines. All players and volunteers will be required to wear a mask and maintain social distance at evaluations.
To help limit the number of participants in the gym at one time, players will be dropped off at the Town Hall entrance, check in, and enter the gym in groups of 5-8 on a first come first serve basis. Parents will not be permitted in the Town Hall and will be asked to wait in their car. The process is not expected to take more than 15-20 minutes per group once in the gym.
What do players need to bring?
Players will be expected to bring their own
LL standard bat, glove, and batting helmet. NO CLEATS!
